Achievement In Motion (AIM) held its first ever Powder Scuff game last night at Citrus High School.
Powder Scuff allowed all the different classes to play against each other in a kickball game.
Assistant Principal Mrs. Kit Humbaugh is in charge of AIM, a club made for honorable students.
“It was a co-ed extra cirricular, safe for students,” said Humbaugh.
At the beginning of the game seniors played against freshmen. The seniors took a victorious win, but the night was not over yet.
In the second game, juniors played against sophomores and lost.
The two winning classes then rivaled each other and The sophomores took the lead, winning best over all score.
AIM often holds events such as this for all students to attend. They are also in charge of the AIM Celebrations.
“The game was to raise money for AIM and the honor celebrations,” said Hunbaugh.
AIM celebrations are events such as carnivals, movie days and game days that are put on for only Honor Roll students.
“The hardest part of the whole thing was trying to teach the girls the simple rules of the game,” said senior and kickball player Eli Jenkins. “And we only had two days before the game to practice.”
Any students were eligble to sign up and play. However, most students just enjoyed going to the game and cheering on their classmates.
